Ready, Set, Read!
State Senator Chris Balkema is challenging all students entering 1st through 12th grade to read 8 books this summer — are you up for it? You have until July 31st to finish!
How to Join the Fun:
- You must be a student in 1st– 12th grade.
- Check out the list of nearby libraries in the 53rd Senate District.
- Read 8 awesome books.
- Fill out the quick online form below or mail in the physical form here by July 31st!
- Wait to receive an official certificate of recognition from the Illinois Senate.
