Summer Reading Program! Ends August 1st

Ready, Set, Read!
State Senator Chris Balkema is challenging all students entering 1st through 12th grade to read 8 books this summer — are you up for it? You have until August 1st to finish!

How to Join the Fun:

1. You must be a student in 1^st– 12^th grade.
2. Check out the list of participating libraries below.
3. Read 8 awesome books.
4. Fill out the quick online form below or mail in the physical form here by August 1st!
5. Wait to receive an official certificate of recognition from the Illinois Senate. Information about a celebratory ice cream social will be provided after the program concludes.
